Ardex Americas Announces New Leadership Structure

PITTSBURGH, PA -- Ardex Group CEO, Mark Eslamlooy announced effective January 1, 2013, ARDEX Americas Executive Management team of Lori Angelo, Mike Crouch and Jesse David will assume shared accountability for the performance of the Ardex Americas business headquartered in Aliquippa, PA. 

Lori Angelo will continue as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Shared Services. In addition to the Financial and Accounting responsibility, Angelo is responsible for Americas Supply Chain, Purchasing, IT, Administration, Legal and Human Resources. Angelo has worked 31 years with Ardex Americas.

Mike Crouch, previously Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, has been named President, Ardex Americas, Latin America Division handling overall Americas Acquisitions (M&A), Innovation and Research and Development (R&D). In addition, Crouch will act as the Ardex Americas representative on the Ardex Global Management Committee (GMC). Crouch has worked 15 years with ARDEX Americas and W.W. Henry.

Jesse David, previously Vice President and General Manager, has been named President, Ardex Americas, U.S. and Canada Division handling overall Americas Operations, Technical and Marketing functions. David has worked 21 years with Ardex Americas.

“We are very pleased with this decision as this structure will draw upon the proven and dedicated leadership talent in our group,” the team stated. “It will allow focused effort on our important regional initiatives while driving the overall Ardex strategy in the Americas.”

2013 Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition winners

This year, the Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition, an annual awards program sponsored by Confindustria Ceramica (the Italian Association of Ceramics) and the Italian Trade Commission, attracted the most competitive pool of projects in the contest's history. The winning projects speak to the A&D community's commitment to using a material that is technically advanced, aesthetically pleasing and manufactured with a focus on sustainability. Nine projects in three categories were recognized: residential, institutional and commercial. The grand-prize winners include a century-old, three-floor adaptive re-use project (Schaefer-Graf Residence), a 675,000-square-foot entertainment arena (Barclays Center) and a LEED-certified government building (NIST) in addition to six projects who received honorable mentions from the jury.
