Hakatai Enterprises supplied Carter Glass Mosaic 3/4-inch tile in Lake Blue for one of the bathrooms.

Architect Pierre Koenig's work on his famous Case Study houses inspired designer and general contractor Patrick Seabol of Modernist Homes in Palm Springs to design a new structural-steel house, the first of its kind built in the area since 1961.

Glass mosaic tile was used extensively in the original Case Study projects, as well as in Seabol's new home. Hakatai Enterprises, a company specializing in importing and distributing glass mosaic tile, supplied Seabol with more than 700 square feet of Carter Glass Mosaic 3/4-inch tile in three colors: Ice Green in the bathroom, China Blend for countertop backsplashes and Lake Blue for a second bathroom.
