Habitat for Humanity International has been selected as a host site for the 22nd annual Jimmy Carter Work Project, June 17-24.

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn will join 3,000 volunteers in Detroit and Benton Harbor, Mich., to build houses in partnership with families in need. Habitat for Humanity Detroit will construct an estimated 30 Habitat homes in one week.

BNP Media, the parent company of TILE Magazine, has a special interest in the Detroit Work Project. Twelve publishers from the company's Architecture & Construction and Plumbing divisions, along with four individuals, have combined to contribute $75,000 in order for BNP Media to sponsor a Habitat for Humanity home.
