The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) recently honored the legacy of MAPEI's Craig Hamilton with a posthumous Joe Tarver Cornerstone Award. The award was presented to his wife, Nancy, during the Coverings show in April. Hamilton, MAPEI's director of research and development, died as the result of a heart attack last year. He was 55.

A 20-year veteran of the industry, Hamilton. Served as president of the Materials & Methods Standards Association (MMSA) and had a strong role in the International Organization for Standards (ISO) where he acted as Convener of the ISO/TC 189 Working Group 3.
