Dal-Tile Appoints New R&D VP

Dallas, Texas-based Dal-Tile Corp. has appointed Dr.
David Earl vp of the company’s research and development department. In his new
role, he will Dal-Tile in all areas related to products and technology
innovations.
Prior to his position at Dal-Tile, Dr. Earl was employed at Alfred University in New York, as an associate professor of ceramic engineering and materials science, and also served as director of the university’s Center for Environmental & Energy Research. He has also served as president of ProCera Technologies, LLC, where he provided advice and strategic solutions to attorneys, businesses and government agencies. Dr. Earl is a member of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS) and past winner of the John Marquis Memorial Award for his publications on glaze research.
