Habitat for Humanity homes.
In partnership with Habitat for Humanity, LATICRETE International recently donated tile-setting materials and manpower for a two-day effort involving the installation of ceramic tile floors in two New Haven, Conn., homes.
The 12-person team, led by LATICRETE ’s Art Mintie, director of technical services and accomplished installer, resulted in the successful installation of ceramic tile floors in the kitchen, main entrance and bathrooms of both homes.
“LATICRETE was thrilled to help out in this worthy cause…we are heavily committed to helping the community that has been our home for more than 50 years,” commented Mintie.
The volunteer team installed the floors using LATICRETE 254R Platinum Rapid Multipurpose Thin-Set Mortar. The tile grout, LATICRETE’s PermaColor, was donated by New Haven’s Tile America.
