Surfaces 2007 educational for tile professionals
December 1, 2006
Whether an architect, designer, builder, installer, distributor or retailer, Surfaces 2007 plans to offer business strategies and insights to these types of professionals. From marketing mentoring to maximizing installation, Surfaces’ educational conference occupies a full Wed. thru Fri. schedule in Las Vegas Feb. 6-9. The event will entail 42 courses in five key areas to include business management, design, installation, sales and marketing.
This year’s Surfaces highlight is the Installation Showcase, up-close live demonstrations featuring a series of experts displaying the latest techniques for installing a variety of floor covering products. These include tile, stone, resilient, hardwood, laminate, carpet, mixed media and more. Free to all Surface attendees, the Installation Showcase is sponsored by National Floor Trends (NFT) magazine, Floor Covering Installer (FCI) magazine, World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) and the Certified Floor Covering Installer’s Association (CFI).
Of special note, three of BNP Media’s very own, Al Stewart (Editor, NFT magazine), John Moore (Editor, Tile/FCI Magazine) and Howard Olansky (NFT founder) will also serve as speakers during the conference. Stewart will host a class on software investment, Moore on the common causes of post-installation failures and Olansky on controlling overhead costs.
