Collective stands – To increase the presence of Brazilian companies, Anfacer and Apex developed a new exhibit method for smaller companies, so that their profiles and products are not lost within larger tradeshows, such as Coverings, Expovivienda and Big 5. With booths measuring 10 or 20 square meters, 10-12 small companies can be present in a low-cost, yet effective manner when conducting business. Companies such as Inti, a small artwork tile producer, are able to display their products in these collective stands, while staying competitive.

The presence of the Brazilian ceramic tile manufacturers Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, will be felt and noticed by attendees of the four-day show in Bologna, Italy - especially on the high-end stage of quality and innovation.

Itagres' New Factory Specifically Built for Porcelain Tile Production

Within the first quarter of 2008, Brazilian ceramic tile manufacturer Itagres will open the doors to its newly built, $50 million, 12 million square meter production capacity, manufacturing facility located in Mossoró, at Rio Grande do Norte state.

With half of its production slated for export, the overall conditions offered by the state, besides logistic and geographic position, were strategic for the construction of the new factory in the region. The factory is very close to several international markets, such as North America, Caribbean and Europe, allowing for competitive freight rates and quicker delivery schedules.

Porcellanati, a new unit of Itagres, will carry its own name and brand of products under the Porcellanati Stile name. As the largest unit in South America to solely produce porcelain tiles, the new brand has machinery and equipment coming in from Italian leader Sacmi.

The main feature of Porcellanati Stile’s products will be stain resistance. The Porcellanato by Itagres will be also be glazed, thereby allowing its beauty and variety to come through.
