The Minnesota Tile Festival showcases a hybrid mixture of arts festival and trade show all about handmade art tiles and mosaics. The festival is presented at historic setting of the American Swedish Institute. The American Swedish Institute will also be giving free tours of the Turnblad mansion with a focus on its 11 historic tiled stoves.



The 7th Annual Minnesota Tile Festival will bring together more than 40 talented, skilled, and award-winning tile artists in the country Saturday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This year’s speaker is Karen Hovde of Interior Vision. Karen will give a talk on "The Importance of tile in the Craftsman Bungalow." The Lecture will be at 1 p.m. in the mansion. Karen is an interior designer who resides in Seattle, WA. Also featured during the festival are:
