The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) invites the public to comment on the LEED for Neighborhood Development Rating System, “which integrates the principles of smart growth, new urbanism and green building into the first national system for neighborhood design,” the organization notes.
The program is a collaborative effort between USGBC, the
Congress for the New Urbanism, and the Natural Resources Defense Council.

public comment period is open November
17 through January 5, 2009.
