Mutina Ceramiche's mosaic Random features small-sized hexagons where different height patterns and randomly cut and glued netting create original effects.

Fuori Salone in Milan, Italy (set for April 21-27), Mutina Ceramiche’s Dechirer Collection will take on a new look, as it will become part of the Light on Surface exhibit where “subtle irregularities and perceptions of décor” will be enhanced by lighting.

The new Déchirer Collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Mutina, includes the hexagonal mosaic Random series, and the recycled glass mosaic series aptly named Glass.

"The collaboration with the famous designer," explained Mutina’s ceo Massimo Orsini, "gave us the impulse to venture into the furnishing field. And our ideal partner in this new challenge could not have been anybody else but a true master as Patricia Urquiola."

The scenarios in the “Light on Surface” exhibits are designed by Davide Groppi.
