Cevisama comes of age with new image
Cevisama, the International Fair for Ceramic Tiles, Natural Stone and Bathroom Equipment, has launched a new corporate image for its upcoming show February 9-12, 2010.
According to the show’s organizers, “the new image is based on human skin as an allegory for ceramic tile and stone: a covering that protects and adorns spaces.” Also, for the first time, the Cevisama poster uses photography instead of a drawing.
“The creativity for the advertising is in line with the recommendations set out in the Strategic Plan: it suggests a fresher image that is at the same time more sophisticated and transposes classic tile decorations onto the skin like a tattoo, echoing the ‘home skin’ theme of the exhibition,” noted organizers. “The imagery treats stone and bathrooms, on the other hand, as accessories and ornaments.”
Also of note is that Cevisama will now include the natural stone industry, which previously had its own fair, though held concurrently with Cevisama.
