Daltile has entered the siding market with the launch of its new Manufactured Stone collection. “By adding manufactured stone siding to our already extensive array of exterior products, we aim to make the selection process as simple as possible for anyone who designs or specifies products for outdoor spaces, including building exteriors, outdoor rooms, retaining walls and other places where stone looks are desired, as well as in popular interior applications like on fireplaces and in wine rooms,” added Lori Kirk-Rolley, senior marketing director for Daltile.

Manufactured Stone is made of lightweight concrete and pumice aggregates cast in rubber molds to mirror the shape and look of a variety of natural stones and bricks, including antiqued brick, rough-cut limestone, river rocks, ancient stonework, weathered stone, dry stacked stone and shell stones.

To further the appearance of natural stone and to minimize repetition, the stones are cast from hundreds of molds and are hand-highlighted with brushes, sprays and powders to create high shade variation. Additionally, all collections are available for custom color match, allowing designers to request and approve specific custom shades.
