Now in its 28th year, Cevisama, the International Ceramic Tile and Bath Furnishings Show will open its doors to showcase the world’s finest in ceramic products, innovations and architectural applications. This year, the show is branded with a radical departure from standard corporate images. It’s inspired by an idea that uses the human form as an allegory for ceramic tile and stone: a covering that protects and adorns a space.
Here’s a taste of what you can expect to see at Cevisama:
- Inalco continues to expand its light, versatile SlimmKer Collection with several new design options including a demonstration of the product in an acoustical ceiling system. The lightweight product can be suspended from an integrated track system, allowing for an unfettered installation. Backed with an insulation mat, SlimmKer offers thermal and sound deadening properties not normally attributed to ceramic tile.
- Apavisa, known for its work in commercial building materials, will show the Burlington Collection, a line inspired by the refined minimalism of stone. Available in two finishes (natural and polished) and a range of sizes including a large format 17.57” x 35.22”, an 8.75” x 35.2” plank and a standard 11.71” x 23.45” rectilinear format. Accessories include covebase, bullnose, and step pieces.
- Ceramica Mayor will show that the building envelope can be eye-catching while providing sustainable characteristics. It offers ventilated façades in vibrant, lifting colors such as red, lime green, cobalt blue, orange and bright whites.
- Saloni offers the ultimate in large format with Goliat, an anti-slip floor tile measuring 47” x 47”. Available in white, bronze, grey, brown and black and fully rectified, Goliat creates a nearly seamless, monolithic slab for any commercial space.
