This hospitality project involved the remodeling of the reception, lobby area and the fountain, and is characterized by a wavy, hypnotic pattern ranging from black & white to bright shades of red and yellow.
The initial project had its roots in 2005, when Architect Bobby Mukherji and Sicis planned the reception and the lobby area. In 2008, the hotel decided to go ahead with the remodeling of the whole lobby, including the fountain area, and the architect took care of the technical drawings and the related budget.
“The Sicis headquarters in Italy, and Sicis partner in India, Degre 7, worked together with Mukherji’s project and reviewed it several times, until they reached the best result considering the available budget for the whole project. The order was produced in 45 days and the installation, in March 2009, was supervised by Ivan Mossini,” Sicis notes.
