The eighth annual NeoCon® East brought in more than 6,200 attendees and 241 exhibitors to the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD, Oct. 28-29, 2010, “once again making it a hugely successful show in the Mid-Atlantic region,” show organizers say.

“NeoCon East has grown tremendously since it was launched in 2003, which is indication of how important the federal government has become to many manufacturers,” said Mark Falanga, senior vice president, MMPI. “Overall, our feedback from exhibitors was extremely positive about the show, so much so that we are already experiencing a strong exhibitor re-sign rate for the 2011 show in Baltimore.”

Of the 241 exhibitors NeoCon East, hosted 174 were on the GSA schedule. The show also featured government interiors, which focused on products and services geared to federal government procurement specifiers, and a GSA Integrated Workplace Acquisition Center booth on the show floor to assist attendees.

The show also offered more than 30 CEU-accredited programs in 14 distinct educational tracks, as well as free 60-minute seminars and GSA-sponsored seminars to government employees.
