The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA), in conjunction with Daltile, will offer a free tile installation symposium Oct. 5 in Philadelphia, Pa.

This is a three-hour tile and stone installation training opportunity that is free to the trades.  There will be refreshments and networking from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The training program begins at 5:30 p.m. and lasts until 8:30 p.m. and includes time for specific questions and answers.  The topics covered included updates to the 2011 TCA Handbook, and also will include one of the following; membranes, large format tile, use of backer board, installation of glass mosaic tile, and shower installation/water management.
