The Tile Contractors’ Association of America (TCAA) has awarded the designation of Trowel of Excellence™ Certified Contractor to Bourbon Tile & Marble, Inc. of Buffalo Grove, IL.
Bourbon Tile, working in the Chicago area, is a fourth generation company with extensive experience and knowledge of tile in both commercial and residential projects. Bourbon Tile joins 20 other companies across the country who have achieved Trowel of Excellence™ Certified Contractor status. The Trowel of Excellence™ was introduced by TCAA in 2005 as a way to recognize outstanding tile, terrazzo and stone installation companies and provide architects, designers and specifiers a yardstick by which to measure a company’s business practices and performance. Companies applying for the designation of Trowel of Excellence™ Certified Contractor must meet stringent criteria that demonstrate superior technical knowledge and craftsmanship, sound business management, fiscal responsibility, effective safety practices and adherence to the highest industry standards.
