The Moon Stone series from Orchid Ceramic’s Carissa collection takes its name from the visual effect, or sheen, caused by light reflecting internally. Orchid’s Moon Stone is comprised of whites, browns, khakis, grays and opalescent sheens. Moon stone has been used for centuries in jewelry, and was common in the United States as part of the Art Nouveau movement.
