"Hummingbird" art tile
ANN ARBOR, MI -- Motawi Tileworks has introduced two new art tiles that are based on the work of artist Cary Phillips. Founder and principal designer Nawal Motawi first saw Phillips’ designs at the Surtex® licensing show a few years ago. “I walked through the show, looking at a million things, and was immediately drawn to Cary’s floral portfolio,” Motawi says. “The design was rich and different and took up the entire canvas.”
Phillips works in all kinds of media, including oils, acrylics and pastels. Her artwork has been used in children’s books, greeting cards, fabrics, desk accessories -- and now art tile.
The 6” x 8” “Tropicana” and “Hummingbird” art tiles come in three different colorways and are pre-notched for hanging. They can be purchased on:www.motawi.com; at the Motawi Tileworks Ann Arbor studio; or at one of the more than 450 Motawi Tileworks resellers nationwide.
