CASTELLARANO, ITALY -- GranitiFiandre has issued a call for innovative projects for the second edition of its Active Architecture Prize that integrate the value of ecological design and the eco-sustainable Active Clean & Antibacterial Ceramic™materials.

”We want to involve all of you: architects, engineers, building surveyors, principals, contractors, and retailers in the design of business and residential projects. Originality, innovation, freshness, but also functionality, aesthetics, and most of all the capacity of taking full advantage of the beneficial effects of Fiandre materials: these will be the criteria that the decision-making Commission will follow in evaluating the work,” the company says.

To participate in the competition, submit a project - designed for residential, public, industrial, or commercial areas - which specifies Fiandre Active Clean & Antibacterial Ceramic™materials for flooring and/or wall covering. The projects must be delivered on and no later than March 31, 2012.
