DSC_9168_body.jpgOogle Tile of San Antonio, TX, introduces its new line of glazed ceramic wall tiles called “Basics.” The tiles are produced by an extrusion method using wet clay. The result is a finished product reminiscent of hand-molded tiles, but with a much more refined appearance. Oogle Tile’s moldings are ram pressed and the company’s glazes are primarily translucent -- giving them depth and character. Currently, “Basics” is offered in three sizes of field tile, 3 x 6, 6 x 6 and 6 x 12 inches, as well as a 1- x 3-inch mesh-mounted mosaic in both running bond and stacked patterns. All these materials are stocked in Oogle Tile’s San Antonio warehouse, and can be viewed on the company’s Web site. The company is presently looking for dealers, and many cities and territories are still available.

Over time, Oogle Tile’s intention is to update the “Basics” color palette based on fashion and demand. The company strives to provide the “basics” -- Balance, Allure, Style, Impact, Color and Savings -- in glazed wall tile.
