SAN ANTONIO, TX -- Vitromex USA has introduced its newest Arko porcelain tile collection, "Mikonos." Launched during Coverings 2012, the collection captivated show attendees with its realistic stone design. Produced with digital printing technology, the "Mikonos" collection takes tile Beyond Nature. Inspired by traditional scabos and rapolano stone, Mikonos offers a high degree of variation and an irregular edge to mimic the natural appearance of stone; while providing the durability, reliability and ease of maintenance of porcelain. Offering 16 different tile face variations, Mikonos offers consumers the look of beautiful stone as an affordable alternative.

"Our distributors are very excited to offer this beautiful collection to their customers," stated Brandon Dalhbo, President of Vitromex USA. "Our newest designs reflect the desire by consumers to have a high-end design with the ease of tile's durability."

Designed for heavy residential and medium commercial traffic, Mikonos is offered in three beautiful colors: coral sand, a light brown and gray mix; caramel, a deeper brown earth tone; and multicolor (pictured), a bold palette of brown, rust and crème. All colors are available in 20-x 20-, 13-x 13-, 12- x 24- and 13-x 13-inch mosaic as well as 3-x 13-inch bullnose.
