LEXINGTON, KY -- Florida Tile has established a special sales team dedicated solely to serving commercial customers. The team will be focusing on A&D customers throughout the U.S. and working in conjunction with Florida Tile’s independent distributor partners and company-owned store locations.

“There is more to supporting the commercial market than delivering as many commercial products as we do,” says Tom Facca, Senior Director of Sales for Florida Tile. “We recognize that the needs of architects, designers and commercial contractors are vastly different from those who serve the residential market. Additionally, while there are many aspects they share in common, even within the broadly defined commercial market, each segment has unique requirements which we plan to satisfy with our devoted commercial sales team.

“To address these unique requirements, Florida Tile has established a dedicated team of specialists that will do more than call on commercial customers in support of our product lines. They also will be supporting customers in their businesses with product, design and availability information that will help make the selection process efficient and intelligent, says Facca. “This includes not only product lines, features and benefits, but also specifications and environmental certifications commercial customers need in order to win bids and grow their business.”

The dedicated commercial team is the second of a multi-phase strategic initiative on the part of Florida Tile to impact the commercial market in a major way. Components of this strategic initiative include a focus on Made in the USA High Definition Porcelain (HDP) complete with trim and mosaics, recycled content of at least 40% (sustainable building practices), Spec and Ship (quick ship) inventory and a leading edge product design influence from Florida Tile’s parent company, Panariagroup.
