Now in its fourth edition,Total Solutions Pluswill be held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, FL, from Saturday, October 26 to Tuesday, October 29, 2013. The conference, which is a collaborative effort between the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA), the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) and the Tile Council of North America (TCNA), integrates each association’s meeting into a single, industry-wide event — providing educational sessions tailored to meet the needs of distributors, contractors and manufacturers as well as networking opportunities and table top exhibits.

Total Solutions Plus 2013 will be held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, FL, from Saturday, October 26 to Tuesday, October 29, 2013

It is expected that more than 500 people will attend this year’s Total Solutions Plus. According to organizers, a survey taken of 2012 Total Solutions Plus attendees found that 100% said that they would return again this year.

Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle at an opening night cocktail reception, attend informative sessions that are a part of a two-day seminar program, view the latest product innovations at the tabletop exhibits and network during social outings. The conference will close out with a beach party-themed dinner and dance.

Keynotes and education

Following breakfast on the opening day of Total Solutions Plus, a Keynote will be given by engagement expert Jon Petz.  In his presentation “It’s Showtime...and Life isn’t a Dress Rehearsal,” Petz will ensure attendees are engaged into the meeting objectives, team, environment, work effort and passion of what they do and how they perform.

On the second day, Eric Astrachan, Executive Director of TCNA, will address the crowd — giving insight into the latest industry happenings.

At the end of Total Solutions Plus, the Closing Keynote will be presented by Mark Scharenbroich, who will share core messages on how to build strong connections in the workplace that result in improved performance across the board.

In addition to the Keynotes, the two-day educational program will also offer valuable information that will help their businesses and careers succeed. Among the breakout sessions will be NTCA & TCAA, ACT Certification Demos on “Membranes and Large-format Tile” and “Mudwork and Showers,” “Planning for Healthcare Reform and The Affordable Care Act” given by Pat O’Connor, “Barrier Free Design/Techniques” presented by Arthur Mintie of Laticrete, “Search Engine Optimization” by Mark O’Brien, a presentation on Social Media given by Shannon Vogel and a seminar entitled “Specification Smack Down.”

Tabletops

Attendees will have a chance to interact with industry manufacturers during the tabletop exhibition that will be held on Monday, October 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. As of press time, registered sponsors included:
