TileExpo

The International Surface Event, which will be held from January 27 to 30, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, is expected to draw thousands of attendees to view the latest in tile, stone and flooring products.

According to Hanley Wood, the exhibition’s owner and management, the International Surface Event will create the largest event for the flooring, stone and tile industries in one location. The show expects to attract thousands of floor covering retailers, distributors, installers, architects, designers and builders from around the world.

TileExpo will feature a wide array of the world’s most innovative, trend-setting and distinctive tile products.

Surfaces will be featuring several international pavilions on the show floor demonstrating the reach and ever increasing importance of the show across the world, according to Hanley Wood. All Surfaces attendees will receive access to both levels of StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas and TileExpo exhibits, as well as on-floor education.

Show floor features

Among the many show floor features will be the Social Media Lounge, an area designated to short education sessions led by social media experts. Also, returning to the show floor this year, Tool Alley is back by popular demand. Exhibiting companies will feature their latest tools as well as the latest in technology and techniques.

Surfaces will also be featuring the Cleaning and Restoration Pavilion. This specialized area on the show floor will showcase exhibitors who supply the floor covering industry with the latest tools, techniques and technologies for the cleaning and restoration for any type of floor covering. This area will also feature a live demonstration stage to see these products in action. Also returning to the show floor this year will be the New Product Marketplace. Sponsored by TILE Magazine, Contemporary Stone and Tile Design, Stone World, Floor Covering Installer and Floor Trends, this area on the show floor gives attendees the opportunity to browse through some of the hottest products and then go visit the manufacturer or supplier in their booth.

Additional show floor features will include Artisan Avenue. This specialty product pavilion will feature products used above the baseboard, such as countertops, wall coverings, window coverings, decorative concrete, hand-crafted tile, sinks, cabinets and many other products consumers are looking for when remodeling a kitchen or bath.

In addition to the exhibition, the International Surface Event will offer a comprehensive education program, including more than 70 seminars, hands-on demonstrations and on-floor education.
