Boca Raton, FL – Q.E.P. Co., Inc. has announced the appointment of Brian Kura as its new executive vice president. Kura joined the company after spending the last 16 years at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. Most recently he was president of Scotts LawnService. In this role, Kura had full P&L responsibility over the $300 million do-it-for-me segment of the business. Prior to LawnService, Kura held the position of senior vice president of sales where he had a proven track record of delivering revenue and profit growth across multiple customers and channels. The customer base and channels of distribution align well with the Q.E.P. customer base.

Kura graduated from the University of Arizona and also has an MBA from Duke’s FUQUA School of Business.
