Buzon is the world’s original screw-jack pedestal. Designed for creating raised floors in external applications, Buzon’s award-winning pedestal system can be used with any type of pavers and timber decking. The most common applications are terraces, balconies, walkways at the beach or pool surroundings. The award-winning and patented slope corrector system gives the possibility to compensate slopes from 0 to 5%. In addition, the pedestal also improves thermal insulation and reduces sound transmission.
The system is modular and can correct slopes up to 15 degrees, and has pedestal heights ranging from ½ to 41 inches. The patented leveling tool and slope corrector is the favorite of installers, and the pedestals can be installed plumb and level in 10 seconds without shimming.
Since 1987 when Claude Buzon first invented the screw-jack pedestal, Buzon Pedestals International has innovated the product further by collaborating with leading architects, specifiers, designers and construction professionals. Buzon pedestals have been installed around the world in a broad array of applications, and are found on some of the biggest buildings throughout 40 countries.
Buzon offers three pedestal series — the BC, DPH and PB. Each pedestal holds 2,200 pounds and locks in place to ensure it won’t move or settle.
