Ege Seramik recently introduced the latest addition to its popular wood-grain look of tile offerings, Nordicwood, a pressed glazed porcelain tile collection. The collection offers designers all that is needed to bring the sleek Scandinavian style of simplicity, minimalism and functionality to any installation — commercial or residential. One of the subtle charms of the Nordicwood collection is the light texture that mimics actual saw marks which is created using Ege Seramik’s state-of-the-art ink-jetting technology. The collection, available in 6- x 36-inch planks, is ideal for medium traffic areas, indoors and outdoors.
Emser Tile recently announced the addition of another glazed porcelain collection. Newberrry™ brings to life the modern look and feel of Old World brick in glazed porcelain in multiple sizes and shapes. Suitable for both residential and commercial settings, the new collection is offered in four colors — Bianco, Cotto, Grigio and Grafite — and seven sizes, including 16 x 32, 16 x 16, 10 x 11, 8 x 16, 8 x 8, 4 x 8 and 2 x 11 inches.
The new project by Lea Ceramiche, Slimtech Type 32, is a porcelain collection that was designed by Diego Grandi. The collection is comprised of four Slimtech 5plus bases, with different colors and four graphic designs that can be combined. On 20- x 200-cm slabs of laminated stoneware, which are each 5 1/2 inches thick, Diego Grandi surprises with graphics that allow for infinite combinations and which create an original and unusual variation on decorated flooring.
Maniscalco has expanded its Sydney Harbor Metals collection with the release of the Trellis line, which is available in three colors, including Wrought Iron, Gold Leaf and Iron Pyrites. The Trellis line offers a unique pattern featuring the traditional feel of wood grain, but with Maniscalco’s new technology, the mosaic body is predominately made with crushed natural stone. Created in a classic format, these mosaics, available in 13- x 11 1/4-inch sheets, can be installed horizontally or vertically. Trellis merges contemporary form with limitless design, and adds new dimension to any vertical installation.
Nemo Tile’s latest porcelain series, Chalk, is a unique line with art deco patterns and solid-colored tiles that can be mixed and matched with ease. A palette of purples, blues, greens and taupes creates a colorful yet neutral appeal, lending the series’ versatility to take center stage or accent spaces. Chalk resembles the popular encaustic tile but is more durable, suitable for both floors and walls. Sizes include 9- x 9- and 27 1/2- x 27 1/2-inch squares, 9- x 37-inch planks, 9- x 14-inch trapezoids and 18- x 27 1/2-inch hexagons.
Soci, Inc. recently introduced a new ceramic tile series, Manhattan Brick. With a glossy and undulated surface, the elongated brick of the Manhattan Brick series in the Chateau collection is a modern take on a traditional subway tile. Ideal for walls and backsplashes, the collection is available in a standard 3- x 12-inch format. Manhattan Brick is offered in seven colors, including “1st Avenue” (white), “2nd Avenue” (cream), “3rd Avenue” (beige), “4th Avenue” (taupe), “9th Avenue” (light blue/gray), “10th Avenue” (dark gray) and “11th Avenue” (black).
