Little Silver, N.J. -- Kiely Home was awarded the first-ever Green Leaf Award from the Little Silver Environmental Commission. The Green Leaf Award, newly founded by the Little Silver Environmental Commission, recognizes businesses, builders, homeowners and residents that make an effort to preserve and protect the environment. Awarded to a new business every quarter, the first-ever Green Leaf Award was given to Kiely Home after a unanimous vote within the commission.

Keith Kinsey, vice president of operations for Kiely Development, a business unit within the Kiely Family of Companies, said, "All of us at Kiely Home are honored to be the first recipient of the Green Leaf Award in Little Silver. We hope this award and program motivate others in our community to step up and take positive actions to protect our environment."

The winning property, a new single-family home in Little Silver, N.J., was designed to preserve a large amount of trees that laid on the property. Environmentally friendly landscaping was added to the property to enhance the natural beauty of the trees.

"One of our core responsibilities at the Kiely Family of Companies is reinvesting in our communities," said John M. Kiely, president of the Kiely Family of Companies. "By leading sustainable projects that focus on maintaining a healthy environment, we can do our part to ensure our communities will be enjoyed for years to come."
