TORONTO, CANADA -- Anatolia Tile & Stone recently launched two new on-trend porcelain tile collections, focused on the residential and commercial markets. Form is a handmade cement tile look in two unique formats and Station is a classic midcentury terrazzo look, reinvented for contemporary spaces.
Form is a high style collection that embodies unique design and decor motifs. Styles span from minimalistic modern to mid-century retro patterns, and classic floral designs from ancient damask forms. All in an 8- x 8-inch porcelain format with a smooth finish and thick premium feel, along with the versatility to be used for floor, wall, backsplash, interior or exterior, is exceptional.
A true interpretation of handmade cement tiles, the look and feel are delivered in an easy to use porcelain product that will be more uniform, durable, easy to install and maintain than a true cement. Form delivers a bold splash of design character to any installation in five field tile colors, available in both square and hexagon formats. Boasting more than 20 different patterns in the program, antique hand-decorated motifs and contemporary interpretations are offered in four colorways. With the designer in mind, creativity is encouraged since each design is available individually or as a mix.
Station is inspired by the traditional, poured-in-place terrazzo that decorates the walkways and porticos crisscrossing Bologna, Italy. Aspiring to the Art Deco and Moderne design aesthetic of 1920s and 30s iconic American architecture, is Station. A classic terrazzo look brought to life in a modern porcelain tile collection, Station is designed to be used both in residential and commercial applications.
Showcased in four understated colors, the Station graphic is comprised of minimalistic light-colored stone aggregate, all naturally uniform in shape and grouped tightly together for a consistent look. Each detail of the surface is enhanced with high-resolution realism. Accented with a subtle touch of gloss glaze, applied to just a few random stone chips, captures and reflects light just as the natural material would. The smooth flat surface is finished in a unique top coat glaze application that is soft and supple to the touch.
Three field tile shapes are all in rectified color body glazed porcelain -- 12 x 24 and 32 x 32 inches, as well as a unique offering in 10- x 24-inch half-hexagon. The half-hexagon is designed to be used as a field tile either in a single color or to make an endless combination of color and format patterns.
Both Form and Station are frost-resistant, pass DCOF and can be installed in wet areas, as well as both interior and exterior applications. A full suite of merchandising displays and catalogs are also available.
