This year marked the 38th edition of Cevisama, one of the largest international fairs for ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings. Held from February 3 to 7 at Feria Valencia in Valencia, Spain, the show welcomed more than 92,000 visitors, a 1.4% increase from last year. Around one-quarter of these attendees were business professionals, who travelled from 156 different countries — a 6% increase from last year and the largest surge the show has seen since its inception, signaling positive growth.

“Cevisama has managed to attract the key markets for the ceramic tile and bathroom sectors, with 35% of all the foreign buyers who attended coming from the traditional European markets (Italy, France, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Germany) and the United States, which is currently the world’s second biggest buyer of ceramic tiles,” said show director, Carmen Álvarez. “The profile of visitors to Cevisama largely comprises retailers, distributors, manufacturers, sales agents, buying groups and specifiers, particularly architects
and decorators. Specifiers are an increasingly significant target for Spanish manufacturers and a group that Cevisama’s organizers are endeavouring to attract in ever larger numbers.”

With 800 exhibitors displaying their newest, most innovative products on the market, there was a myriad of things to observe throughout each hall.

The next edition of Cevisama will be held from February 8 to 12, 2021 at Feria Valencia in Valencia, Spain.
