LEXINGTON, KY -- Florida Tile recently launched a new generation of metallic-inspired, color body porcelain tile. Industrial in its feel, Urban Foundry^HDP provides the perfect foundation for distinctive, modern spaces.

“There is a continued appreciation for interiors using reclaimed materials such as rusted metals, that inspired us to introduce a porcelain tile reflecting this aesthetic,” said Tressa Samdal, director of marketing and product management at Florida Tile. “When you look at Urban Foundry^HDP, you see a beautiful interplay of color, light effects and a moderate degree of shade variation that makes it perfect for spaces with a weathered personality.”

Urban Foundry^HDP features four lustrous colors to choose from: Alumina,* an ashen silver/white; Cast Nickel, a medium silver/gray with hints of warmth like an aged coin; Graphite, a warm gray with hints of green and bronze; and Iron Oxide, with layers of earthy rust and other burnished tones. A pressed 12- x 24-inch tile, a 25-piece mosaic, and a 3- x 24-inch bullnose are offered in all four colors.

Manufactured using proprietary HDP -- High Definition Porcelain^® printing technology, Urban Foundry^HDP is appropriate for all standard applications in both residential and commercial settings. It is entirely made in the U.S. in a Green Squared^®-certified Advanced Manufacturing Center in Lawrenceburg, KY, of 40% pre-consumer recycled content, and is Greenguard^®- and Porcelain Tile-certified.
