This story begins far away from Ceramica Senio’s headquarters in Milan, Italy -- all the way on the West Coast in San Francisco,CA.

It’s there, where Federica, after tasting avocado toast and scrambled eggs for the first time, had a vision. A short time after, with the help of the architect, Andrea Langhi, the Fancy Toast restaurant was born on via Vittor Pisani 13, in the center of Milan.

The restaurant makes the Californian mood its flag. Andrea Langhi wanted to give rhythm to the walls and columns by using Ceramica Senio’s Chevron tile collection in a 6.5- x 26-cm (2.5- x 10-inch) format in the color, “White Kyoto,” in a lacquered finish. The tiles were laid vertically and framed by rectangular, 10- x 30-cm (4- x 12-inch) tiles from the Laccati collection, in the same color, “Bianco.”

The new motto of the restaurant: “Just chill, have a toast!”
