FORNEY, TX -- The International Certified Flooring Installation Association (CFI) will hold its 29th annual Convention & Expo from August 2 to 4, 2022, at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, FL, under the theme “Shaping the Future Together.”

CFI’s Annual Convention & Expo is the only show of its kind that attracts professionals from every sector of the flooring industry -- everyone from the dealer side to the inspectors recognizes it is the show “where all the business surrounding installation happens.” It is only here where leading suppliers and manufacturers come to debut their new products and installation techniques, where the latest technology, tools and equipment are unveiled, and floor covering installation professionals come to improve their businesses through networking, educational seminars and hands-on workshops.

According to CFI executive director, Robert Varden, the energy and attendance, especially from younger installers, reflect the organization’s recruitment efforts and live training this year.

“We’ve had a phenomenal year,” Varden said. “We’ve formed partnerships and created programs with organizations and institutions to lead the way in reaching the next generation of installers, and we’re excited about the momentum we’ve built. Last year’s convention not only drew more young installers but also saw an increase in retailers, distributors, inspectors and manufacturers. This increased engagement with the entire industry is essential for the future of the industry, as we can only shape it together.

“We were founded on the belief that we could make a difference, that our love for our craft and our drive to be better will inspire others,” Varden went on to say. “The heart of CFI is its members, and this show is our chance to bring them all together. A certain magic happens when in-person connections are made, whether sharing laughter with old friends, networking with new people, or interacting with industry experts.”
