A while back, I took a night class through a community program to learn how to work with mosaics. I remember having fun breaking the tiles and deciding on a design for the mirror that I was going to make. We even learned how to grout. The class was not only a learning experience, but I also ended up with a pretty decorative piece that still hangs in my home today.
Mosaics are a great way to create a point of interest in a design – whether for a backsplash, floor “carpet” or an accent wall. There are an abundant of options to meet all design styles – from colorful and shiny to muted metallic and geometric shapes.
As you scroll through TILE this month, you will see that we dive into mosaics -- from a showcase of some of the latest product introductions to proper installation. We hope you enjoy the content, as well as learn something new.
Our staff at TILE values your feedback so that we can provide you with the information you would like to see. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have a suggestion or a project or idea you would like us to cover. I can be reached at email@example.com.
