WAREGEM, BELGIUM -- Unilin Technologies is pleased to announce that it has entered into a license agreement with Surteco which allows Surteco to use roll-to-roll digital printing technologies from the broadest patent portfolio in the digital printing space today. With these technologies, Surteco increases its design freedom and product quality.
Surteco, one of the world's leading full-service providers of decorative surfaces, has signed a Unilin license agreement for roll-to-roll digital printing applications. This agreement gives Surteco access to Unilin’s expertise on digital printing that they have been researching and developing for more than 15 years by testing different inkjet technologies and chemistries around the world.
Roll to roll digital printing enhances the design freedom and personalization of the products, which enables make-to-order production and reduces inventory and waste. With the large color gamut and increased sharpness, Surteco takes the next step to improve their efficiency, product quality and design opportunities.
“We are excited to welcome Surteco to our growing portfolio of digital printing licensees,” states Floris Koopmans, sales director of Unilin Technologies. “Digital printing technologies open a whole new world for our industry and we are happy that our pioneering work in the field is of interest to more and more companies.”
“With design and quality at the core of our business, we are happy to enter into this agreement with Unilin Technologies”, states Adrienne Oster of Surteco. “Our state of the art production line is now fully operational and we are looking forward to providing amazing designs for our customers.”
