ALICANTE, SPAIN -- Cerámica Mayor, a leading ceramic tile manufacturer in Alicante, Spain, has invested in a solar roof installation as a commitment to being sustainable. The company installed 2,040 solar panels to assist in greater energy savings and efficiency. The solar panels will also prevent the emission of 5,000 tons of carbon dioxide, according to Cerámica Mayor.
Thanks to this installation of solar panels, Cerámica Mayor will have significant control over the constant flow of energy, avoiding micro power outages that used to cause problems in production -- specifically in the tone of the product. In this way, the Spanish tile manufacturer improves quality and optimizes production, as well as providing the facility with extra insulation.
