VALENCIA, SPAIN -- The trade is ready to go for Cevisama 2023. The foremost fair for the ceramic tile, bathroom and natural stone sector opens its doors on Monday, February 27th and will be showing hundreds of new products and innovations to thousands of visiting professionals. The event will be a key moment, with all the innovations and trends emerging from the sectors represented set before professional buyers.

“Cevisama 2023 is going to be a great fair”, declared Carmen Álvarez, the event’s director. From February 27th to March 3rd, industry professionals will once again be thronging the aisles and stands at Cevisama. “We have noted recently that people have been wanting the fair to happen. This is definitely the most keenly anticipated edition of Cevisama there has been,” Álvarez adds.

Feria Valencia is again playing host to the ceramic tile industry’s foremost event, set to be officially opened by the President of the Regional Government, Ximo Puig, accompanied by other officials, on Monday, February 27th at 10.00 a.m.

Big brands at Cevisama 2023

More than 500 companies, 80,000 square meters of exhibition space and 100 speakers, experts in architecture, design and sustainable and industrialized construction will be there for visiting professionals to see and listen to in a very special edition of the fair featuring major brands.

Peronda, Roca, Baldocer, Keraben Grupo, Grupo STN, Aparici, Apavisa, Decocer, Vives, Arcana, Poalgi, Visobath, Griferia Tres, Ramón Soler, Schluter System, Raimondi, Arttros, Fila, Irsap, Vitropixel and Cevica are just some of the hundreds of companies exhibiting at Cevisama 2023.

“We are very excited to be at Cevisama and are very much ready for it”, declared bathroom and kitchen company Poalgi, an opinion shared by many others in the industry such as Decocer, Roca and Peronda. “We are coming to this edition with high expectations and wanting to get back to showing our new products close to home,” said a spokesperson for Peronda.

“We are in an industry that is developing all the time and we believe it is pivotal to reinforce this to our current and prospective customers and let them know about the hard work we are doing,” says Decocer sales director Verónica Obrero, adding that exhibiting at Cevisama is particularly important when times are volatile and uncertain.

Huge foreign buyer program

For this edition of the fair, Cevisama has quadrupled the number of foreign buyers set to attend. What this means is that not only Spain’s full purchasing power but also a substantial representation of overseas purchasing power will be attending the event.

U.S. companies will be attending, including Merola Tile/Somertile, Richmond Ceramic Tile Distribution, Cancos Tile, Secret Bath and Virginia Tile, along with leading French distributor Point P. Saint Gobain, Richardson, the Leclerc group, Leroy Merlin France and French group Gedimat. German companies including BDB (Bundesverband Dutscher Baustoff-fachhandel), Köbig, Nerlich & Lesser, Taxis and Stark Group will also be there.

Other visitors to Cevisama include the Belgian Federation of construction materials and the UK’s construction materials trade association, along with British companies Al-murad Tiles, The Tile Company, Tapis Tiles, Craven Dunnill&Co and Canadian distributors Olimpia Tile, Tiles Inspired and Sarana Tiles.

“Thanks to a substantial effort by Feria Valencia and support from the Conselleria de Economía Sostenible (Ministry for Sustainable Economy), we have invited more than 3000 companies and have received confirmations from more than 1200 Spanish and foreign companies”, the fair’s director reveals.

An excellent cultural program

Cevisama also features a spectacular program that will address the industry’s hottest issues of the moment: sustainability, design, innovation, industrialised construction and technology will all be under the spotlight from Monday onwards at Feria Valencia.

New additions to the fair are also being launched such as Cevisama Build and The New Arquitectonics, whilst some that were particularly successful in previous years are being brought back, such as Cevisama Trends, showcasing the best of design, and CevisamaLab, the fair’s ideas laboratory, which will include its prestigious Architecture Forum, with speakers including the top architects of the moment: Francis Kéré, David Chipperfield and Anne Lacaton.
