LIVONIA, MI -- Virginia Tile Company has announced the appointment of David G. Burke as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Burke is a multi-dimensional leader with over 20 years of experience who has the ability to operate at a corporate leadership level, as well as facilitate functional transformation. He has demonstrated experience working with operations, marketing, purchasing, IT and research development -- driving growth and financial performance. Burke will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, Information Systems and Human Resources, providing strategic guidance and direction to help drive growth and profitability.

Burke previously served as Chief Financial Officer of SyBridge Technologies, a technology-driven end-to-end manufacturing solutions company. Prior to this role, Burke was with Diversified Restaurant Holdings where he started as Chief Financial Officer and treasurer and was eventually appointed to president and Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Burke was employed by Federal-Mogul Corporation, where he held roles in finance, marketing and corporate development. Burke also serves as a director at Integrity Process Holdings, Inc. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Michigan - Ross School of Business.
