Larger formats, warmer tones and thinner thicknesses are among the many new tile trends found at Cevisama 2023, which recently reopened its doors in Valencia, Spain.

While grout has always been essential to transforming the overall aesthetic of a tile installation, evolving technology has allowed for more options – making it the star of the show.
 

From brightly colored and whimsical to subtle muted patterns or tiles with a vintage look, there was a host of decorative product lines showcased throughout the exhibition halls of this year’s edition of Cevisama.

Coverings (coverings.com), the largest international tile and stone exhibition and conference in North America, has released a sneak peek of new tile and stone products, along with a select preview of installation materials, tools and technology products that will be showcased at Coverings 2023, taking place April 18 to 21, 2023, at the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando, FL.  

Emser Tile, designer, marketer and producer of tile and natural stone based in Los Angeles, CA, has been selected as one of the 2023 Top Workplaces USA national award by Energage, a technology company that empowers workplace excellence, for the second year in a row.

Women in Tile, a new group backed by the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) to support women in the tile industry, met for the first time at Coverings 2022 and has been angling to develop a board and a set of initiatives to support the women in the tile industry.

Marazzi, an international leader in the manufacturing of ceramics and stoneware, founded in Sassuolo, Italy in 1935 and present in Spain with production plants at Castellón de la Plana since the early 1980s, opens the doors of its first flagship showroom in Madrid. The project is the work of ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, who redesigned the 300-square-meter space overlooking the very central Calle Serrano and Calle Juan Bravo, in the heart of the Spanish capital, to accommodate the infinite Marazzi collection of ceramic surfaces.
