IMPO, a flooring distributor based in Illinois, has rebranded itself as AvanTile. In addition to retooling its name, the company has moved to a new base of operations in Tinley Park, Ill., housing 100,000 square feet of space for corporate offices, a distribution facility, and a 4,000 square foot showroom.

Beginning four decades ago as a distributor of flooring in Illinois and Indiana, today the company offers a range of high-quality porcelain and natural stone tile from North America and Italy. Lead by Davide Giovagnoni, AvanTile's president, the company runs its 12 warehouses/distribution centers and customer service networks with an eye toward "streamlining AvanTile's existing product line and working closely with its factories on developing new and quality products," according to the company. AvanTile is wholly owned by the Florim Group of Italy.
