StonePeak Ceramics debuted its first three lines of glazed porcelain ceramic tile at a distributor event in Chicago this past summer. These new lines - Café, Slate and CastleRock - were met with wide approval by the more than 80 guests representing about 30 StonePeak distributors.
"As a domestic company and manufacturer, StonePeak Ceramics has its finger on the pulse of the desired trends in the U.S.," said Phyllis Schoenherr, vp of Beaver Tile and Stone, a distributor in Rochester Hills, Mich. "The company is well-equipped to design tile that the customer wants and needs."
The Café series includes a range of wood-like colors offering a consistent, unified appearance. Available in 12-by-12 and 18-by-18 inches, Café comes in Cream, Black Coffee, Green Tea and Cocoa colorations.
The company's Slate tile incorporates five colors: Sand, Earth, Everglades, Lava and Clay. The tile is available in four sizes from 6-by-6 to 18-by-18 inches.
CastleRock tile offers a fairly dense stone look and distinctive, colored veins inspired by natural travertine. The tile is available in three neutral colors - Armor, White Cliff and Cobblestone - and five modular sizes from 6-by-6 to 18-by-18 inches.
Complementing trims are available for all three tile introductions, with residential and light commercial use in mind. These new tiles join StonePeak's four unglazed porcelain tile lines, which were debuted at Coverings 2005 earlier this year.
