On display in the courtyard of Utah's American Fork Hospital, the Healing Garden mural depicts calming hues and aquatic designs visible to garden guests and those in the ICU waiting room. The mural, which stands 15 feet high and spreads across 45 feet of the garden's west wall, was created by Wayne L. Geary and Louise Fischman of Utah.
Materials used in the mural included acrylic paint, glazed ceramic tile, inlaid hand-cut Byzantine glass mosaic and porcelain tile, and four, 4-foot mosaic pavers inserted into the courtyard floor. Precision H2O used its waterjet cutting technology in the mural. Tile was provided by Daltile.
