The new Laticrete Baltic plant in Salaspils, Latvia.
Beginning this month, a new Laticrete factory in Latvia will provide greater access to the company's tile and stone installation products in the Baltic states. The 107, 640 square foot plant is situated in Salaspils, 11 miles outside the capital city of Riga, which is considered to be a gateway city to trade with Russia.
The facility allows Laticrete International to quickly produce and distribute its products to all countries located along the Baltic Sea, including Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Germany and Poland. The plant will be overseen by Genady Jakimenko, senior partner/owner of Laticrete Baltic. Jakimenko has been involved with the distribution of Laticrete products in Latvia for more than 10 years.
