Laticrete founder and chairman emeritus Dr. Henry Rothberg, whose work in the field of chemical engineering led to the invention of the thinset method for the installation of ceramic tile and stone, was honored with the Joe A. Tarver Cornerstone Award from the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) during Coverings 2007.
