Mediterranea says it is proud to have its Mountain Timber series featured at one of the newest shopping destinations in the United States, the Destiny USA project taking shape in Syracuse, New York.

According to Mediterranea, “Approximately 27,000 square feet of Mountain Timber is being installed in this cutting-edge project, which is the largest LEED-certified commercial retail project in the country. Mountain Timber features 71% recycled content, making the product a leading choice for designers seeking environmentally-friendly, low maintenance and stylish flooring options.”

The Mountain Timber series comes in three distinctive variations to suit any design: Canyon Timber, Native Timber and Wild Timber (the featured material at Destiny USA). The project was designed by the firm of Holmes King Kallquist (Leif Kallquist, Architect and Terrie King, Designer), with tile installation by C&D LaFace Construction.

Scheduled to open in the Spring of 2012, Destiny USA and the adjacent Carousel Center will be the sixth-largest shopping destination in the United States.
