MOUNT PROSPECT, IL -- If you're going big in freestyle motocross, you might as well bring along the guy who virtually invented the sport. That's what Robert Bosch Power Tool Corp. and the Daredevil power tool accessory brand will do at this year's Summer X Games.

Daredevil is a brand of Bosch power tool accessories that's targeted to construction professionals and general contractors who want the best in tools and equipment. Bosch and Daredevil have aligned with Mike Metzger in the "Work Hard, Play Hard" campaign, which is designed to demonstrate how best-in-class Daredevil products fit into the work lives of the professionals who use them.

"Daredevil and the X Games are a perfect fit," said Heather Hughes, group brand manager, accessories, Bosch. "Our goal is to demonstrate how our customers can use these tools to work better and more efficiently - which translates into more free time. And who offers a better example of how to use that free time than Mike Metzger?"

Metzger will take part in the best whip competition Friday, June 29 at 6:45 p.m. PST. Metzger will wear a helmet cam during his jumps; visitors to www.boschdaredevil.com will be able to see helmet cam footage and other coverage from the X Games.

The X Games is one of the world's largest and most prestigious competitions for action sports athletes. More than 200 competitors will go head-to-head for a chance to be a part of extreme sports history in Los Angeles.

As part of its participation in X Games 2012, Bosch will be hosting customers and winners of its "Work Hard Play Hard" sweepstakes. Winners, who will be guests in the Bosch suite at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, took home prizes that included a grand prize of an all-expenses-paid trip to the X Games, plus two first prizes of 2012 350SXF KTM Motorcycles. Other winners were awarded Blaklader work wear, autographed X Games memorabilia and a variety of Bosch power tool accessories.

Bosch customers and the sweepstakes winner will receive a Mike Metzger-autographed Daredevil T-shirt and will meet Metzger. All attendees in the Bosch suite will be entered into a raffle to win an autographed Mike Metzger helmet and will all receive pit passes for the track.

During the X Games street festival Mike Metzger will sign autographs at the Bosch trailer.
