On September 27, Cersaie will be focusing on the vital contributions of women in architecture with a day event devoted to three internationally renowned female architects. These three women -- Carla Juaçaba (Brazil), Izaskun Chinchilla (Spain) and Sarah Robinson (USA) -- have followed very different career paths yet are united by their original stylistic explorations and multidisciplinary approach. The conference will be moderated by architect Michael P. Johnson.
On September 26 in Bologna, acclaimed Italian designer and architect Riccardo Dalisi will answer questions put by high school students. He will be introduced by Fulvio Irace, architecture historian and lecturer, at Milan Polytechnic.
On Tuesday September 24, Cersaie will be hosting an event in honor of the late architect Paolo Soleri. The program includes a documentary and an open-floor discussion on his life as well as his artistic and cultural achievements.
