Laser Products Expands Workforce and Facility
ROMEOVILLE, IL -- Laser Products has announced a workforce and facility expansion in response to continuous and rapid growth of its products.
The manufacturing facility has been expanded to include over 12,000 square feet of production space at the company's headquarter building in Romeoville, IL. Two new hires, Ken Pohlman and Rob Schoenpeck have increased the company's assembly capacity by 33%. They will report to Matt Flake, production manager.
The marketing department of Laser Products has tripled with the hiring of Alex Gay, marketing intern and Brittany Nichols, marketing coordinator, and the retention of an outside graphics design company and a marketing communications firm. The department will work under the direction of Brian Stoiber, director of marketing.
"Expanding our production and marketing capabilities is a direct result of 20% year over year growth over the last three years," said Rich Katzmann, executive vice president of sales and marketing. "Our focus is to continuously develop new products and services that make business operations easier and more profitable for our customers. We are ramping up now because we have new products and new partnerships in the pipeline for next year that will do exactly that."
